Welcome to SDS WRITER, LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and our commercial Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) authoring, translation, revision, and regulatory compliance consulting services. By requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
SDS WRITER, LLC provides professional technical consulting for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) creation, MSDS-to-SDS conversion, hazard classification, label review, and foreign language translation based on chemical technical data provided by the Client. All SDS documents are prepared in accordance with current national and international regulations, including U.S. OSHA HCS (29 CFR 1910.1200), Canadian WHMIS 2015 (HPR), EU REACH/CLP, and GHS standards.
2. Client Responsibilities & Accuracy of Technical Data
The accuracy and regulatory validity of any completed Safety Data Sheet depend entirely upon the completeness, accuracy, and truthfulness of the technical data provided by the Client (including raw material CAS numbers, ingredient percentages, physical state, and toxicological studies). The Client represents that all technical data provided to SDS WRITER, LLC is complete and accurate.
3. Delivery Timelines & Revisions
- Standard Turnaround: Completed SDS documents are typically delivered via digital format (PDF) within approximately 5-7 business days following receipt of all required product information and payment confirmation.
- Review Period: Clients are granted a 14-day review period following delivery to request minor adjustments or corrections regarding product identifiers, company contact details, or formatting.
4. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Upon full payment of all applicable fees, the Client receives full ownership rights to the final completed Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents authored for their products. SDS WRITER, LLC retains ownership of internal authoring databases, reference templates, and proprietary classification software tools.
5. Limitation of Liability
While our SDS documents are authored by qualified PhD industrial chemists striving for 100% regulatory compliance, SDS WRITER, LLC shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from product misuse, customer misformulation, or inaccurate ingredient details supplied by the Client.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
